I've decided to round up my posts from the warm-up round for NaNoMaChines so as not to lose track of them sooner or later. They were fun to write. We did a bunch of prompts, where one prompt = 20 minutes to fill. The whole round was epic and spawned quite many worthy contributions, which I encourage you to check out! We went with the "very short fic" definition of "drabble" rather than "100 words exactly" for this event, so I'll be tagging them as drabbles here. Down with terminology wars! I mean.

As announced a while ago, here comes the first of the rant-free, fit-for-the-public-eye oldfic entries. All except the last drabble dating back from 2007, so you know where to turn to explain possible style differences from the newer stories since I hope my writing has developed in the past two years. Why orange? Well, it's been snowing and the streetlamps are making everything seem to have that colour. The snow, the air. (How poetic.) Sometimes nights like this also look purple, but this time, it's orange. Never mind me. XD

In other news, I've got a drabble again! I have no idea how it happened. Last night I was innocently trying to fall asleep...and this is the result. (Seriously, if this thing is what I've managed to come up with innocently, I wonder what would have happened if I had really tried.)
Regarding drabbles. I'll wait until I've collected about five of these new ones and then post the whole bunch in remusxsirius in one go. Because I just won't go spamming the comm with small fics before I finish the big one. Which I miraculously haven't forgotten about, mwahaha.

To tell the story behind this drabble - I was originally inspired for it a long time ago after I listened to Dir en grey's song 'The FINAL' and Hyde's 'Countdown'. That, and I was curious and couldn't leave some stuff from the series alone.
